Tales of Arise Taps On Ufotable For Epic Opening Movie

Bandai Namco has finally revealed the Tales of Arise animated opening movie by Ufotable, whose notable works include Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and parts of the Fate anime franchise.

The two-minute clip shows all of the playable characters that have been announced thus far, and offers a first chance to hear the Tales of Arise theme song, Hibana, by J-rock band Kankaku Piero.

The upcoming game will follow the journey of Alphen and Shionne in their quest to free Dahna from the oppressive rule of Renan. As players progress through the game, they will start to meet other unique characters who’ll eventually join their adventure to free their world from slavery.

Tales of Arise will release on 9 September 2021 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and 10 September for PC via Steam. Pre-orders for the game are available on the Bandai Namco Asia online store and participating retailers.
