‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Behind-The-Scenes Video Reveals Three Victims… Er, New Faces

Netflix has just offered fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the upcoming final season of Stranger Things (Season 5), set to premiere in 2025. This exclusive peek includes a video showcasing the familiar young cast, now significantly grown, alongside intriguing new sets and fresh cast additions.

The behind-the-scenes footage reveals Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) reflecting on her journey with the show, starting from age 10 to now nearing 20. “Feels very weird,” she comments, expressing excitement about the upcoming season, which Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) believes could be the best yet. “It’s just so exciting, I think this is going to be the best season yet,” he adds, highlighting the high expectations for the concluding season.

During the production update, the Duffer Brothers, creators of the show, noted that filming is about halfway through, with completion targeted around Christmas. This final stretch is poised to captivate viewers with what Maya Hawke describes as feeling like “eight movies”, indicating the episodes’ substantial length and cinematic feel.

In a new development, Season 5 will welcome three additional actors to its cast: Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux, enriching the already dynamic ensemble. The announcement accompanies shots of the returning actors, including Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Sadie Sink, all contributing to the nostalgic yet forward-looking tone of the season.

Interestingly, the video also features a cameo from Linda Hamilton, a self-professed fan of the series, though some notable actors like Eduardo Franco and Joseph Quinn’s beloved Eddie Munson are absent from the footage.
