Before 2020, many would have been hyped to travel to Disneyland California to experience the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park. Unfortunately, most folks wouldn’t have the opportunity to do so now given the current global health crisis that is putting the world at a standstill.
To offset this, Disney Parks is making merchandise that was previously exclusive to Galaxy’s Edge available for purchase on shopDisney.com from 28 September onwards. This selection of merchandise will mostly include authentic clothing based on the movies and shows from Black Spire Outfitters, as well as the highly-popular 1:1 scale Legacy Lightsabers from Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
Speaking of Legacy Lightsabers, there is also an ongoing vote to see which is the next iconic lightsaber that could join the already-expansive catalogue, ending on 1 October.
Other Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge merchandise that can be bought from the online store include toys from Toydarian Toymaker, plushies from Bina’s Creature Stall, and toy droids from the Droid Depot.
Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be any food-related items on sale, such as the iconic Blue Milk, or even the Thermal Detonator-shaped Coca-Cola bottles, which are great collector’s items themselves. But of course, it only makes sense that they’re not available on the online store due to freshness issues.
In any case, the Galaxy’s Edge merchandise will only be available for a limited time, so grab them while they’re hot next week!
