There you have it, the previously teased Fantastic Four collaboration with Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man has come to fruition.
The web-slinger can now swing around New York City in two new, fantastic looking costumes — the Bombastic Bag-Man suit and the Future Foundation suit.
The Bombastic Bag-Man suit is based on events that took place in the comic Amazing Spider-Man #258. In it, Spider-Man paid the Fantastic Four a visit for help with an alien symbiote he was wearing as a costume (Yes, that symbiote will later become Venom).
Reed Richards managed to help Spider-Man get the symbiote off but he was left in only his underpants. Johnny Storm, who is a longtime friend of Spider-Man, then decides to help him out by loaning him a costume, and a paper-bag in lieu of a helmet, and thus the Bombastic Bag-Man was born.
The second skin, the Future Foundation suit comes from a chapter where Spidey actually joins the Fantastic Four. Then known as the Future Foundation, its members included Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Dr Doom, and the Fantastic Four. More importantly, members of the Future Foundation all wore sleek matching black and white costumes.
Both these fantastic looking suits will be available for players with the patch update 1.14 for Marvel’s Spider-Man on PlayStation 4.
