Those awaiting the release of Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will have something else to look forward to once the game releases on the PS5 as the game developer has announced that the it’ll come with an optional “Performance Mode”, with 4K resolution and 60FPS.
Insomniac Games had previously announced that the game will have ray-tracing in some capacity. With this latest update, it seems players might be choosing between a 4K 30FPS mode with ray tracing or a 4K 60FPS “Performance Mode” for ultra-clean image quality and smooth frame rate.
Regardless of the players’ decision, it seems like they are in for a great looking game.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was revealed as part of Sony’s PlayStation 5 event stream and is a follow-up to Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man which was released in 2018. It follows Miles Morales taking on the mantle of Spider-Man and will feature new villains as well as unique powers unique to only Miles.
