Set photos for Spider-Man 3 have been making rounds on the internet and it’s got our spidey senses tingling.
Snow, Christmas, a donut shop, and a brand new suit. It seems like our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man has gone through some major changes from when we last saw him in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Just Jared recently caught sight of Tom Holland and Zendaya on a donut shop set where Peter is seen going inside to talk to MJ who’s working at the shop together with Ned. To back things up, Atlanta Filming provided a clear shot of the donut store exterior with some festive Christmas decorations and snow settling around the entrance.
Given how the upcoming Spider-Man 3 is receiving a December release date, these photos hint that the MCU film might have its first proper Christmas movie.
Holland is also seen in a brand new black and red suit. The end of Far From Home saw the hero in a black and red suit – a clear deviance from the classic blue and red suit – but new photos suggests that certain sections that was once seen in his previous suit have been removed.
With past Spider-Mans Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire set to join in the film, fans can expect the new movie to delve into some kind of multiverse storyline, especially considering Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will also be appearing in the film as a mentor of sorts to Peter Parker (and more importantly, to open the gates of the MCU’s multiverse).
Spider-Man 3 is slated to release 17 December 2021.
