Score some Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie passes and toys!

Geeks have been enjoying a good steady flow of superhero flicks for the longest time ever. Following on the heels of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (check out our review!) comes the sequel to 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man on 1 May 2014.

In fact, the movie just had its UK premiere on 10 April so we should be seeing a good number of reviews coming out in the weeks ahead.

Having completed a good bulk of their media leg in Singapore, the cast and crew look to be all pumped up for the show’s release. Looking promising indeed. My only gripe is that Electro takes on the Ultimate Spider-Man look as opposed to the old school green-and-yellow suit. It’s all up to Jamie Foxx to bring out the character and considering his pedigree, we should be in for a treat.

Unlike the first movie, which I felt was lackluster because it only had the Lizard as a villain, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, ups the ante by throwing in up to potentially 3 villains in the form of the above mentioned Electro, Rhino and The Green Goblin. When the Goblin enters the fray, we can start counting down the clock to Gwen Stacy‘s death.

In conjunction with the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, we have lined up a giveaway for fellow geeks in Singapore (sorry International fans, we’ll have swag for you guys in the near future, promise!).
