ROG Phone 6 Series Brings Mobile Gaming Prowess To Singapore From S$1,399

The demand for gaming phones isn’t slowing down anytime soon, as the mobile gaming market continues to grow. Republic of Gamers (ROG) is a powerful force in this field, having rolled out five generations of its ROG Phone.

Its newest additions, the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro, were launched earlier this year, but they will finally be available in Singapore starting today, 26 August, in two colour options: Storm White and Phantom Black. The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration is priced at S$1,399, while the 18GB + 512GB iteration comes with a S$1,799 price tag. Do note that the latter version is only available from September onwards, though interested parties may start placing their pre-orders now.

Both models are powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which offers a performance boost across all on-device experiences. Alongside an overclocked Adreno GPU, users can also expect a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with HDR10+, a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz, and a 23ms touch latency. In short, the ROG Phone 6 line-up is nothing short of fast.

More impressive is its upgraded cooling technology. With the GameCool 6 feature and optional AeroActive Cooler 6 accessory, the phones are kept cool to the touch for an optimum gaming experience. Other notable features include a dual-3000mAh battery setup, a 12MP front camera, and three rear-facing cameras: a 50MP main, a 13MP 125° ultrawide, and a 5MP macro system.

The ROG Phone 6 may be purchased from official online and offline channels alike, with S$129 worth of early bird freebies up for grabs. That’s not a bad deal at all, considering how the prices are more attractive than that of previous years.
