RoboCop: Rogue City FPS Reveals Bloody Gameplay, Coming In June 2023

Come June 2023, RoboCop fans can step into the shoes of Alex Murphy as part man, part machine, all cop. RoboCop: Rogue City is a first-person shooter developed by Teyon and published by Nacon.

RoboCop: Rogue City will feature an all-new story that will be “faithful to the franchise’s DNA” and is expected to be based on the original three films. The not-so-good news is, Teyon was responsible for two other video games based on iconic ’80s movie franchises, Rambo: The Video Game (2014) and Terminator: Resistance (2019), which were critically panned.

The good news is, the game will be using Peter Weller’s likeness and voice.

And of course, players will get to battle ED-209!

The game’s official synopsis reads:

Welcome to Detroit; crime runs rampant as the city lies on the edge of ruin, people fighting for scraps as others live extravagant lives of luxury. Control of the Detroit Police Department is given to the Omni Consumer Products corporation in an attempt to restore order. You are that solution, RoboCop, a cyborg tasked with protecting the city. The triumphant return of RoboCop wouldn’t feel right without the man who brought so much life into the role, and we’re excited to reveal that Peter Weller will be performing voiceover work on the game. Enjoy this first look at gameplay and for the record, “dead or alive, you’re coming with me!”

RoboCop: Rogue City will be coming to PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch in June 2023.
