Resident Evil 3 To Do Away With Multiple Endings & Mercenaries Mode

As we continue to stare in disbelief as Capcom prepares to bring back Resident Evil 3 in a shinier package, more details about the upcoming remake has been revealed in a new interview with PlayStation Magazine UK.

Thanks to Reddit, we now know that not only is Mercenaries mode no longer in the game, but that the multiple endings in the original are out as well.

Resident Evil Resistance/Project Resistance will be taking the multiplayer portion of the remake, pitting four players against the mastermind, who has traps and the undead at their disposal.

The removal of multiple endings comes via confirmation from one of the producers, Peter Fabiano. How this will affect the progress of players throughout Resident Evil 3 remains to be seen.

Of course, a key part of the game is Nemesis, and the monster will be even scarier as Capcom continues to work on the AI used for Resident Evil 2s Mr. X. Carlos Oliviera, another key cog of the game, will be given more to do and for players to experience as well.

Resident Evil 3 will be launching this April 3 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
