If you are looking to tie the knot with your partner sometime soon, and are an avid fan of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, well then you are in luck. Couples in Japan can now get married with an officially licensed wedding themed after the game’s Eternal Bonding Ceremony in Japan.
The wedding will be organised by a wedding planning company called Bridal Hearts, and will set you back about US$31,500, should you choose to go ahead with the themed wedding.
This is a tad bit more than the US$30 virtual wedding in the game but we guess that’s the price you have to pay for being able to carry life-sized replicas on in-game weapons down the aisle.
Not only that, the wedding ceremony will also have FF XIV’s music played throughout and special themed food at the reception, including a very cute wedding cake, decorated with beloved Final Fantasy mascots such as the Chocobo and Moogle.
Director and Producer of Final Fantasy XIV Naoki Yoshida has confirmed that reservations for the service should open in a few weeks time. So that might still give you some time to save up the money need to pay for the service, but if not this can still serve as inspiration for some cute wedding ideas in the future!
