Pacific Rim: The Black First Trailer Shows Off A New Jaeger And Kaiju

Netflix knows exactly what its audience wants. After all, who can resist giant robots and monsters throwing punches at each other?

Here’s the official synopsis of Pacific Rim: The Black –

There was a time when Kaiju rose from the Pacific Rim only to encounter gigantic robots, Jaegers, built to fight them back. That time has passed. Now, Australia has been overrun by Kaiju, forcing the evacuation of an entire continent. Left behind, teenage siblings Taylor and Hayley embark on a desperate search for their missing parents, teaching themselves to pilot a battered, long-abandoned Jaeger to help in their quest and give them even the slightest hope of surviving.

Produced by Polygon Pictures (BLAME!), Pacific Rim: The Black is part of a long string of shows which Netflix is rolling out to feed the appetite of anime / animation fans.

Pacific Rim: The Black will have seven half-hour episodes, and premieres worldwide on 4 March 2021.
