Omnidesk Enters Living Room With Excelsa Height-Adjustable Coffee Tables

Having handily entered many homes over the past two years, Omnidesk is looking to expand its footprint into more locales in one’s humble abode.

One of the key pieces of furniture that one would buy for most homes would most likely be a coffee table. However, for most homeowners, such coffee tables generally are fixed in height and lack adjustability which is something Omnidesk is looking to address.

For anyone who prefers to play board games in the living room, this might be an ideal option as opposed to playing on the dining table.

Excelsa Bourbon

The simpler offering (S$399) among the two launch models, the Excelsa Bourbon table features a mocha-toned finish with a faux leather PVC table topper. It’s as minimalist as it gets and the no-frills design integrates the control panel into the table itself.

Measuring 1,220mm x 600mm, the table adjusts to as low as 480mm and as high as 745mm.

Excelsa Mokka

The premium offering ($449), the Excelsa Mokka features a coffee table that will go well with homes that feature a darker colour palette. Featuring an integrated control panel as well, the Mokka includes additional USB charging ports in the form of 2 Type-A and 1 Type-C ports.

Measuring 1,210mm x 600mm, the table adjusts to as low as 480mm and as high as 745mm.

While the tables are a good inclusion into most homes, one thing does raise one area of concern – where is the power cord? It might take some additional engineering to add this Omnidesk table to an existing living room if you’re the type that wants to keep the floor area free of wires. For eagle-eyed readers, those legs might not pass the wife test for aesthetics in the living room as well so hopefully, alternatives might be a good touch.

We’ll be taking a closer look at these tables once it arrives so do stay tuned!
