There is always that next level of immersion being sought, and for those who are looking for a more involved Assassin’s Creed Mirage experience, the Ubisoft and OWO Haptic Gaming System should be right up your alley.
This special Assassin’s Creed Mirage edition of the OWO Haptic Gaming system comes with the OWO Skin, the OWO device, 20 gel pads, a storage pouch, the USB charging cable, and a digital copy of the game that will be launching this 12 October.
“Using the OWO System, you will be able to feel your precise movements when you take down your targets. But beware! They are out to get you. Don’t let your enemies get too close or you will feel the consequences,” said the official description of the product.
“By leveraging OWO’s ground-breaking technologies and expertise, we are able to immerse players in the world, sounds and sensations of Assassin’s Creed Mirage in an innovative and enhanced way,” said Fabian Salomon, lead producer at Ubisoft Bordeaux. “We can’t wait for our players to discover and enjoy the coming-of-age story of Basim with the power of OWO.”
With the colours and aesthetic of Assassin’s Creed Mirage incorporated into the OWO vest design, players will feel a little closer to Basim. The completely wireless system will enable free movement, with the flexible lycra allowing for customised experiences that can be adjusted using the app. Battery life will also be about eight hours as players feel all sorts of sensations across the upper body.
The current Founder Edition of the OWO Haptic Gaming System goes for €499, and it is likely that the Assassin’s Creed Mirage edition will cost slightly more than that with the licensing and inclusion of the digital game code.
