Eisenberg has read the script for the upcoming film and is enthusiastic about its unique approach to the heist genre. He praised the franchise for its focus on intelligence and teamwork over violence, a rarity in Hollywood blockbusters today. Now You See Me 3 promises to continue the series’ tradition of clever plotlines and non-violent excitement.

“Yeah, I did [read the script]. Hopefully it will happen in the next six months. I think it will, it seems like it will. Yeah, it’s really great. I also agree with you. For me, the thing I love about it so much, having just read the script, it celebrates intelligence and it’s non-violent but exciting, and it’s so weird to see that because it sounds so obvious, and it sounds like that would be common, but it’s actually quite uncommon to have a movie that’s this franchise, this Hollywood-style movie that’s really just about teamwork and intelligence, rather than just violence.”

While specific plot details remain under wraps, the film is likely to welcome back familiar faces, including Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, and possibly Isla Fisher, whose absence in the second film was due to pregnancy. Ruben Fleischer, known for directing Venom and both Zombieland films, will helm Now You See Me 3, bringing a fresh perspective to the series. Each movie in the franchise has featured a different director, adding a unique flavour to each instalment.

Eisenberg’s collaboration with Fleischer and Harrelson on Zombieland has fans anticipating their dynamic return in Now You See Me 3. The film, scripted by Seth Grahame-Smith and produced by Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman, aims to captivate audiences with more magical adventures and cunning tricks.

In the meantime, fans can look forward to Eisenberg’s next project, Sasquatch Sunset, set for release in April 2024.
