New ‘A Quiet Place’ Game Will Feature Original Story, Out In 2022

If you are a horror buff, chances are, you would have appreciated A Quiet Place and its sequel. The suspense and the intensity of the films kept us on the edge most of the time, and soon, you will be able to do so with the reins in your hand. A video game based on A Quiet Place has been revealed, promising to deliver a narrative-driven single-player horror experience.

This will be an original story, with gameplay that “captures the compelling suspense, emotion and drama for which the series is famous”.

Development of the A Quiet Place game is being led by Illogika, a Montreal-based studio. Developers include those that worked on Ubisoft properties Rainbow Six and Far Cry, as well as veterans from Eidos Montreal and Behaviour Interactive. Saber Interactive, the folks behind World War Z, is publishing the game.

“We are proud to say that A Quiet Place is the first game we will be releasing by an external studio from the growing Saber publishing label.”

While there are no announced platforms just yet, the game will be expected to launch sometime in 2022.
