Mike Flanagan’s The Midnight Club Casts Nightmare On Elm Street’s Heather Langenkamp

Mike Flanagan is bringing yet another horror series titled The Midnight Club to Netflix following the spine-chilling The Haunting of Bly Manor and The Haunting of Hill House.

The 10-episode series based on the book by Christopher Pike is will be brought to life by Nightmare on Elm Street actress Heather Langenkamp, who Flanagan himself calls horror royalty in a Twitter thread announcing the cast.

Langenkamp started her career as early as the 1980 and starred in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchises. Her recent notable movies include Home, Cabin in the Woods and more.

Familiar faces Matt Biedel (Narcos: Mexico), Samantha Sloyan (The Haunting of Hill House), Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy), Aya Furukawa (The Babysitters Club) and Igby Rigney (Blue Bloods ) are also announced as part of The Midnight Club‘s cast.

The Midnight Club will also be welcoming newcomers William Chris Sumpter, Annarah Shephard, Ruth Codd, Adia and Sauriyan Sapkota.

The Midnight Club is set at Rotterdam Home, a hospice for dying teenagers with terminal illnesses set in 1994. The book revolves a group of five young men and women who met at midnight to tell horror stories. One night, they made a pact that the first of them to die would make every effort to contact the others from beyond the grave.

There is no release date set for The Midnight Club.
