Microsoft Makes Work Life Easier With App Mirroring On Windows 10

Seamless integration between multiple devices seems to be the goal for most tech companies. Just recently, the newest macOS allows for easier integration between the iPhone and the Mac with Continuity Camera. Not wanting to be left behind, Windows also has announced an easier way to integrate your mobile device with your computer.

The application, which Microsoft is calling Your Phone app, allows users to access their phone’s texts as well as images right from their own computer. The last 25 photos are immediately accessible from the computer without any need to plug the phone into the computer. It also has a feature called app-mirroring. Users are able to access any apps on their phone from their computer and use it just like one would use it on their mobile devices.

Since the discontinuation of the Windows Phone, Microsoft needed to create a way to integrate the mobile devices that are out there with their own operating system and this app is their way of doing so. The Android stock text and photo apps are available with the newest Windows update while the app-mirroring is coming in a later update.

It’s not only Android that will be getting the Windows love. The Your Phone app will also allow iPhone webpage transfer and, from the look of the video in the tweet above, texts from iPhones as well. Other than that, we don’t know if the app will have other iPhone features.
