Mi Mix Now Available in Singapore via Lazada

If you are a big fan of phablets, and the recent Samsung Note 7 debacle has gotten you down, do not despair. Xiaomi has the answer.

The company’s brand new, China-only Mi MIX is now available at online retailer Lazada, as part of their 11:11 sale!

Lazada recently started selling the non-Singapore versions of the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, and it is now betting that enough Android fans want the drool-worthy ceramic phone from Xiaomi.

The 6.4 inch beauty has the world’s first bezel-less display, powered by the Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset and runs on Xiaomi’s own MIUI 8.0 (based off Android 6.0 Marshmallow).

Available only in Ceramic Black, the 256GB variant will retail at S$1639 while the 128GB variant will cost you S$1289. In comparison (if you’re even able to get the Mi MIX at retail in China), the 128GB variant costs ¥3499 which translates into about S$720, while the 256GB enters in at ¥3999 which is about S$823. Is it worth paying the price for exclusivity? The choice is yours.

Like the Google Pixel phones that are also being sold through Lazada, it is highly likely that the Mi MIX will be sets from China and have no local warranty. Interested buyers should note that Google apps will likely not be pre-loaded, so make sure you have the know-how to sideload the necessary Google APK files into your brand new Mi MIX.
