Meet L3-G0, the Fully Operational, Full-size LEGO R2-D2

Star Wars and Lego fans, check out this first ever, fully operational, 1:1 scale LEGO R2-D2, making its debut at the recent Emerald City Comicon 2014, and it’s amazing. It’s even controlled fully via a Microsoft Surface Pro! And that’s not all, there’s an endearing “Aaawwww” moment of Darth Lily, the cutest girl in the galaxy, hugging him at the con. Make sure to scroll down and watch it!

L3-G0(as the creators named it), is the handy work of Shawn and Lara Steele who decided that it was time for the world to have a fully functioning astromech made out of LEGO bricks. They succeeded almost a year later, so all us geeks can ogle in envy!
