Loki season two has received a new trailer and boy, is Loki going through a lot.
In the new trailer, the God of Mischief played by Tom Hiddleston, is seen trying to make sense of what is happening around him as he gets pulled through time between the past, the present and the future. Even Sylvie (Sophia DiMartino), a Loki variant, claims that everything is turning to s***.
The short trailer also reunites Loki and Sylvie with Mobius (Owen Wilson), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), Judge Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and Miss Minutes (Tara Strong).
More excitingly, fans get to see more of Victor Time, a variant of He Who Remains from season one played by Jonathan Majors, and new character OB (Ke Huy Quan).
It seems like Loki’s journey this season is to put a stop to a threat who wants to take advantage of the multiverse. If that rings a bell, it’s because this was the very same threat Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) tried to defeat in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Kang the Conqueror.
Whether Loki emerges victorious remains to be seen, but we do know that Kang is set to fight against Earth’s mightiest heroes in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty movie.
Loki season two premieres on 6 October.
