It’s a dream come true for all Star Wars fans in Singapore today.
Just when we thought we couldn’t get more Star Wars, Singapore Changi Airport has a special treat for us. A life-sized Resistance X-Wing is docked at the airport’s Terminal 3, while a heavily guarded TIE fighter has landed in Terminal 2.
From 13 November onwards till 5 January 2016, fans can head to the airport to bring home a slice of Star Wars. At selected times every day (10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, 7pm-9pm, and 4pm -6pm, except Saturdays), you can grab a ticket number and wait in line to take a photo in the cockpit of the X-Wing on display. There’re even costumes that you can put on to really immerse yourself in the Star Wars Universe. The best part- you’ll be issued a print of your photo to take home for free.
Besides these two awesome displays, there would also be periodic appearances by Star Wars characters, including weekly greetings by X-wing fighter pilots and Imperial Stormtroopers every Saturday. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely visiting the airport more regularly this year end!
Here’re some highlights of the launch earlier today:
