Legends of Runeterra Fully Releases for PC & Mobile Along With Its First Expansion

After months of betas and playtesting, Riot Games’ first-ever free-to-play digital card game, Legends of Runeterra, has finally launched on PC, iOS and Android. Also, cross-play, one of the game’s standout features, is live across all platforms, so players can duke it out with friends in just about any device that runs it.

In conjunction with Legends of Runeterra‘s full launch, its first expansion pack, Rising Tides, has also released. The expansion features over 120 new cards and 11 champions from the League of Legends universe including Miss Fortune, Fizz, and Gangplank, among others. The set also introduces six new card mechanics, adding more mechanical depth and flexible gameplay options for players.

“We’re thrilled to officially launch Legends of Runeterra for cross-platform play, following our incredibly exciting Mobile Soft Launch in Singapore,” said executive producer Jeff Jew. “Our commitment to strategic interactive gameplay, rich deckbuilding, and amazing champion moments remains as strong as ever, and now is the perfect time to jump in and explore all that Runeterra has to offer. Thank you to everyone who played and provided feedback during the Mobile Soft Launch, and for everyone that’s joining us now, see you in game!”

Other than Legends of Runeterra, Riot Games also recently launched its very own competitive first-person shooter, Valorant, on PC.
