Just when visitors thought it was safe to walk through the mist again, Jurassic World: The Experience is stomping its way into Cloud Forest at Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay on 29 May 2025. Following the success of Avatar: The Experience in 2023, the team behind this new spectacle, NEON and Universal Live Entertainment, is preparing to unleash dinosaurs across one of Singapore’s most iconic attractions, promising a summer of prehistoric proportions just in time for the Jurassic World Rebirth movie that will hit cinemas in July.
Cloud Forest, known for its cool-moist climate and high-altitude tropical biodiversity, will serve as a unique backdrop for the cinematic universe of Jurassic World. Life-sized animatronics and detailed sculptures will be nestled among more than 72,000 thriving plants, including over 50 species like cycads, conifers, and ferns — flora with ancient lineages dating back to the same era as the dinosaurs themselves.
Visitors can expect to be greeted by an 8.5-metre-tall Brachiosaurus towering nearly three storeys high at the entrance. That’s just the beginning. Zones within the exhibit promise up-close encounters with a roaring Tyrannosaurus rex, interactions with baby dinosaurs at a dedicated Petting Zoo, and glimpses of Compsognathus (“Compys”) hidden among the foliage.
A standout feature exclusive to Singapore’s edition of the experience is the Evolution Walk. This trail invites visitors to explore a period before the age of dinosaurs, showcasing ancient plant species that thrived long before flowering plants emerged. Extinct reconstructions and informative displays trace plant evolution through millions of years, creating an educational bridge between the Earth’s prehistoric past and its present.
While the animatronic stars are likely to steal the spotlight, Jurassic World: The Experience also taps into iconic scenes from the film franchise, transforming Cloud Forest into an immersive playground for fans of all ages. Interactive exhibits and cinematic storytelling aim to deliver what no screen ever could: the illusion of walking among living dinosaurs. Jurassic World: The Experience is part of Jurassic World: The Exhibition, which has been or is scheduled to be in various locations including Bangkok, Sydney, Berlin, Toronto, Atlanta, Melbourne, and London. Bangkok, in particular, is opening a larger scale, 1.2-billion-baht immersive attraction at Asiatique The Riverfront in Q2 2025.
