Huawei is embarking on a new era of productivity with the 2025 variant of its next-generation tablet, the MatePad 12 X, designed to elevate a user’s digital experience with its upgraded ultra-clear PaperMatte Display or the new Huawei M-Pencil Pro stylus.

For optimal eye comfort and clarity, the MatePad 12 X PaperMatte Edition comes with a display enhanced by high-precision nanoscale etching technology, reducing glare by 50 percent compared to the MatePad 12 X’s 2024 version and providing a clearer, more comfortable viewing experience built for extended use.
For further comfort, the device also features an all-metal unibody design, which measures a mere 5.9mm thick and weighs in at just 555g. To ensure temperatures are kept at a desired level during use, the MatePad 12 X also boasts a flagship-level 3D heat dissipation architecture under the hood, which not only helps to regulate temperatures but also enhances overall performance by 27 percent compared to its predecessor.
Paired with the new Huawei M-Pencil Pro stylus, the MatePad 12 X becomes the ultimate productivity tool for seamless creation. The stylus features buttons to bring up an in-app radial menu, providing easy access to brushes, colour palettes, and other tools, alongside a shortcut to launch the Huawei Notes app, or even gesture support to create pinpoint brush strokes in apps like GoPaint. The stylus comes in three different tips for standard writing, small fonts, and painting, with 16,384 pressure-sensing levels throughout for enhanced stroke accuracy.
The Huawei MatePad 12 X (2025 variant) is now available for pre-order in Singapore at all Huawei Experience Stores, or official online stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok, starting from S$748. Each pre-order also comes with S$425 worth of freebies, including the Huawei Smart Keyboard, Huawei M-Pencil Pro, and PC-level WPS 3.0, while stocks last.
