Huawei has unveiled its latest pair of flagship smartphones, the Pura 90s Pro and Pro Max, with the latter setting the standard for mobile photography with its impressive 200MP telephoto camera when it launches on 30 July 2026.

The Huawei Pura 90s Series offer a major leap in terms of telephoto macro capabilities, main camera performance and colour accuracy, delivering a 43 percent improvement in colour accuracy compared to the previous Pura 80 Series, and a 34 percent expansion in colour gamut processing over the Pura 80 Ultra, ensuring that shots are captured as true-to-life as possible. The devices also support advanced macro shooting with a 5 cm minimum focus distance, able to capture extreme close-ups with intricate detail.

As the beefier brother of the two, the Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max comes packed with additional bells and whistles, headlined by its 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera, allowing for crisp long-range imaging. To further improve clarity and stability even at range, the device also features chip-level 200MP RAW real-time processing technology for 20x telephoto video capture, alongside CIPA 7.0 image stabilisation level, which minimises the shakiness of handheld shots.
Complementing the Huawei 90s Series’ photography prowess is its AI integration, with features such as the upgraded AI Composition function that automatically frames subjects and delivers real-time guidance on shooting positions, alongside its AI De-glare, which eliminates window reflections, glass glare, or screen interference.

As a photography-focused device, the Pura 90s Series is built to last, with both devices equipped with a 6000 mAh large-capacity battery for extended use. When the battery runs dry, the Pura 90s Pro and Pro Max support 66W and 100W wired SuperCharge, respectively. Additionally, the Pura 90s Pro Max’s front display is also protected by Kunlun Glass, simultaneously reducing screen reflections, scratches, and fingerprints.

The Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max comes in three colours – Blush Gold, Orange Ocean, and Graphite Black, which are each presented with the Dual-tone Gradient Metal Mid-frame for a distinctive layered texture, while the Pura 90s Pro comes in three palettes inspired by holiday beverages – Guava Soda, Coconut White, and Mulberry Black.
The Huawei Pura 90s Pro and Pro Max will retail at S$1,198 and S$1,498, respectively, when they launch on 30 July 2026 at Huawei Experience Stores, Huawei official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, as well as retailers such as Singtel, Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, iShopChangi and MetaPod. Both devices will also be available for pre-order from 24 to 29 July.
