Huawei Launches Seamless ‘Super Device’ Ecosystem With 7 Smart Office Products

In recent years, Huawei has been busy pushing out MateBook laptops and MatePad tablets, and more recently, the MateView monitor and MateView GT gaming monitor.

This time around, Huawei is taking things to the next level and announced seven smart office products at the Huawei Spring 2022 Smart Office Launch event. The products include its latest flagship laptop, its first all-in-one PC, a new 2-in-1 laptop, its first E-Ink tablet, a new HarmonyOS tablet, its first-ever printer, and a new portable speaker.

Also introduced is the company’s “Super Device” system that allows users to seamlessly drag icons from all their Huawei devices onto their PC, which will serve as a central hub. The Huawei Super Device is available for download now, Huawei PC users can simply upgrade the existing PC Manager to version 12.0.2.

Now, let’s run through each of the seven products launching in 2022:


#1. Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022

The MateBook X Pro is the company’s latest flagship laptop. The 14.2-inch Real Colour FullView Display features 3.1K resolution, 92.5% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio and P3 wide colour gamut modes. As Huawei’s first product certified by TÜV Rheinland for pro-level dual colour gamut colour accuracy, it delivers more true-to-life colours and it weighs in at 1.38 kg. The Free Touch Gesture feature allows users to take screenshots, start screen recording, adjust screen brightness and playback volume by simply swiping the touchpad.

The MateBook X Pro comes packed with a Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.


#2. Huawei MateBook E – OLED 2-in-1 laptop

The MateBook E is slim (7.99mm) and light (709g), making it the world’s lightest portable 2-in-1 laptop. It is the first-ever Huawei laptop with an OLED display. It has a 12.6-inch screen and is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core (i3, i5 & i7) processor. It features cinematic wide colour gamut, pro-grade colour accuracy, and a peak screen brightness of up to 600 nits for a consistent experience, even when used under bright sunlight. Coupled with peripherals such as the 2nd generation M-Pencil and Smart Magnetic Keyboard, the MateBook E helps users work more efficiently while on the go.


#3. Huawei MateStation X – All-in-One PC

Another first for Huawei, is the all-in-one desktop PC, the MateStation X which features a minimalist aesthetic design with no visible ports on the back at all. With its unique dynamic hinge design, users can easily adjust the elevation angle of the screen with a single finger. The MateStation X features a large 28.2-inch screen at 4K+ resolution. It comes in a narrow bezel design on four sides and a 92% screen-to-view ratio. It also has a non-reflective layer and supports 10-point multi-touch for a premium viewing experience, while offering powerful performance and outstanding sound quality.

The MateStation X comes packed with an AMD Ryzen 7 Processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.


#4. Huawei MatePad Paper – E-Ink tablet

The MatePad Paper is Huawei’s first E-Ink tablet which features a 10.3-inch E-Ink FullView Display with an 86.3% screen-to-body ratio. When used together with a 2nd generation HUAWEI M-Pencil, the MatePad Paper supports multiple input methods such as handwriting, voice recording, and handwriting-to-text conversion. Other features such as Split-Screen Notes and Annotations make the product smarter. As an E-Ink tablet powered by HarmonyOS 2, it brings greater convenience to users in multiple ways through cross-device interconnection and free-flow content. Users can transfer content from their phone or PC to the E-Ink tablet for easier reading and to reduce eye strain.

The MatePad Paper comes packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage space.


#5. Huawei MatePad 2022

The new MatePad boasts a 10.4-inch 2K display with an 84% screen-to-body ratio. The display was certified by TÜV Rheinland as low-blue-light and flicker-free. The MatePad powered by HarmonyOS 2 can seamlessly connect to other Huawei devices, including a phone for drag and drop of files, and a PC for efficient work.


#6. Huawei PixLab X1 – Laser Multi-Function Printer

The PixLab X1 is Huawei’s first HarmonyOS-powered laser printer. And of course, it prints, scans, and copies. With functions like Pop-up Pairing, Tap to Print, and Remote Printing, printing is as easy as it gets. The PixLab X1 is also the industry’s first printer to feature a toner cartridge drawer design for easy pigment replacement.


#7. Huawei Sound Joy – Portable speaker

The Sound Joy is Huawei’s first portable speaker co-engineered with Devialet, bringing stunning sound quality to users with its four-speaker-unit system. It offers great battery life with an 8,800 mAh battery, which supports 26 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. It comes with IP67-grade water and dust resistance. It is available in two colours, Obsidian Black and Spruce Green.
