Half-Life: Alyx Launches On All PC VR Platforms This 23 March

The Half-Life franchise has been a beloved, if not, dormant franchise for a long time, and when Valve finally announced that a new entry was coming to the series, fans were eagerly anticipating what was to come. Not many would have expected the VR-exclusive Half-Life: Alyx, but it is shaping up to be a potential big hit.

Releasing on 23 March 2020, for all PC-compatible VR headsets, owners of the Valve index will reportedly get the game for free as well. The game will serve as a prequel to Half-Life 2, and give us a look into Alyx Vance’s story before meeting Gordon Freeman.

Playing as Alyx Vance, you are humanity’s only chance for survival. The Combine’s control of the planet since the Black Mesa incident has only strengthened as they corral the remaining population in cities.

Considering the last game in the franchise was Half-Life 2: Episode 2 back in October 2007, having Half-Life: Alyx so close to release feels almost too good to be true.

Prepare your VR headsets this 23 March 2020, and it will soon be time to jump into the world of Half-Life once more.

Compatible headsets include:
