The 2026 Gran Turismo World Series is heading to its third round, and this time, it has made its way to our shores, as the racing game tournament will be making its Southeast Asian debut in Singapore on 3 October 2026.

As part of the event, players from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and South Korea will be eligible to take part in the Singapore Regional Time Trial Challenge, which will be held in-game on Gran Turismo 7 in August, with each of the fastest racers from each region invited to attend the Gran Turismo World Series in Singapore and compete on stage in the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup.

This tournament is also a special occasion for the region, as it marks the first time the Gran Turismo World Series has headed to Southeast Asia since its first run in 2018. In addition, Singapore also makes sense as its first-ever pitstop, since the event will coincide with the annual Formula 1 race, which will take place from 9 to 11 October 2026. Round 3 of the 2026 Gran Turismo World Series follows Round 1 in Milan on 23 May and Round 2 in Tokyo, which is set for 15 August.

Gran Turismo 7 (2022)

As part of the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup, fans will be able to witness some of the fastest SIM racers in the world compete for their place in the World Finals, which is set to be hosted in Tokyo sometime in early December 2026.
