Get An Early Taste Of Village Madness With ‘Resident Evil 4 Remake’ Chainsaw Demo

For those that have been eagerly awaiting to get their hands on the awesome-looking Resident Evil 4 Remake that will arrive later in March, Capcom has some good news to share. During the studio’s latest online spotlight event, the Japanese gaming stalwart revealed that a new Chainsaw Demo is now available for Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Not that it will surprise anyone, considering all of the recent Resident Evil games have had demos, and that Twitch ads were already live pointing to the new demo. Nevertheless, it is still great that players can get an early taste of the trials and tribulations that Leon S. Kennedy will have to experience while trying to save Ashley Willaims.

The Chainsaw Demo, which takes place early in Resident Evil 4 Remake with the iconic village ambush section, can be played for as long as you want without any time limit. Players can hone their skills for the real experience while enjoying all the new bells and whistles afforded by current-generation hardware. The demo will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Officially announced back in 2022, Resident Evil 4 Remake will bring the classic up to date with some new tweaks and improvements. This includes updated game controls and combat, most notably a more useful knife, while the story and characters will largely remain true to form. Hopefully, this will allow one of the best Resident Evil games of all time to become even better.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will launch on 24 March on all the abovementioned platforms, while the demo is already available now.
