Nuns take vows that often involve dedicating themselves to a life of poverty and chastity. Some nuns devote themselves to prayer, while others serve their community by helping the poor – but this one, the one you meet in The Nun II, is no saint.
The Nun II will reunite the demon called Valak (Bonnie Aarons) and Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) in 1956 France. Valak, as fans would know, is the demonic Nun who haunts The Conjuring universe. She first appeared in The Conjuring 2 (2016) before making her solo debut in 2018’s The Nun.
In The Nun, Sister Irene battled against the demon and banished the wicked spirit…or so she thought. Sister Irene will have to face off against the demon once again as it seems Valak may have followed her and Maurice (Jonas Bloquet) to France.
