Since its debut in 1990 in the Weekly Manga Action, Crayon Shinchan has continued to delight and entertain scores of kids with the antics of young Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara, his family, dog, and friends.
Now Shinchan and gang are back to defend their hometown of Kasukabe from the Rakuga Kingdom, who wishes to force the creation of doodles from the citizens of Kasukabe in Crayon Shinchan: Crash! Rakuga Kingdom.
To help him, the young five-year-old has been bestowed with the kingdom’s hidden treasure, the Miracle Crayon. Alongside three other doodles, Shinchan will attempt to save his hometown. Only, they quickly find out that the doodles have one fatal weakness, water. And with an ominous-looking raincloud looming over them, ready to pour at any moment, the stakes are set for Shinchan and the “Almost Four Heroes” to save their friends and hometown.
Crayon Shinchan: Crash! Rakuga Kingdom will be having a preview screening on 10 October 2020 and Geek Culture will be selecting four lucky winners to walk away with a pair of tickets to the preview screening of the film, courtesy of Muse Communication. Winners will also receive an A3 movie poster and mini drawing pad as door gifts during the screening.
Crayon Shinchan: Crash! Rakuga Kingdom will open in cinemas on 15 October 2020.
