Full ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ Trailer Sees The Supernatural Invade New York

Strap on your proton packs and get ready to go bust some ghosts, as Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire recently released a full-length trailer that reunites the old crew and introduces some new faces and monsters.

The movie is a direct sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which starred Carrie Coon (Fargo) as Callie Spengler, Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard as Trevor Spengler, McKenna Grace (Annabelle Comes Home) as Phoebe Spengler, and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) as Gary Grooberson. The cast will reprise their roles for the new movie, and the original Ghostbusters gang will be joining the film as well. Environmental Protection Agency inspector Walter Peck, played by William Atherton (Die Hard) also returns from the 1984 movie.

“In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will play in theatres from 22 March 2024.
