‘Fort Solis’ Announced As Sci-Fi Horror With Voice Acting From Troy Baker And Roger Clark

The Dead Space influence continues its trajectory, as another sci-fi horror title took to the stage at Summer Game Fest 2022. Fort Solis is the latest project from European independent studio Fallen Leaf, and serves as a joint project with voice acting talents Roger Clark and Troy Baker.

While there was not a lot to go on from the announcement trailer, a few details have been confirmed. For starters, the game is described as a “tight thriller” and a blend between Dead Space and a Duncan Jones film (Moon, Source Code). There will also be exploration elements, plenty of action, and multiple ways to traverse the setting of Mars, with the narrative apparently being a “huge element.”

Clark, best known for his work as Arthur Morgan from the Red Dead Redemption series, has been tapped to play Jack Leary, a maintenance engineer on the a remote mining post. The main protagonist, Wyatt Taylor, voiced by Baker (The Last of Us, Uncharted, BioShock Infinite), is a medical officer at Fort Solis who is, at times, in opposition with Leary.

No release date has been announced for the game, which is currently only listed on Steam. A brief summary on the page reads, “Fort Solis is a single-player, third-person thriller set over one long night on the far side of Mars. Engineer Jack Leary responds to a routine alarm where events unravel and escalate out of control in a way he could never have imagined.”
