Since it opened in early 2020, the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride has become one of the most popular rides in Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Right up till the theme park got closed due to measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the Star Wars ride had seen long queues, filled up minutes after the opening of the park each day.
Unfortunately, even though the parks might be reopening soon, it is unsure if or when many of us will be able to make a trip down to Disneyland.
Sure, there might be plenty of videos on YouTube showing you what the ride is like, but it is just not the same from actually experiencing it for yourself. Thankfully, Disney is aware of this problem and has released its own virtual ride of Rise of the Resistance, letting us experience the ride from the comforts of our home, all in about 3 minutes.
The video walks you through both the queue experience and the actual tram section of the ride, with captions giving you some fun facts of the ride along the way. Of course, being only a 3 minute video, you’d have guessed that some parts were edited away and indeed they are, with parts of the queue section edited down to just give you an idea of what they look like and the experiences you can expect there.
Though be warned, the video does include spoilers from storylines to cameos so if you are someone who is bothered by spoilers then you might want to give this video a miss.
There is still no news on when Disneyland or Disney World might be reopening but at least fans will now know what to look out for when they take a ride on Rise of the Resistance in person.
