Not content with just amazing the Internet with a gameplay preview for Elden Ring, FromSoftware is also testing the wallets of fans by revealing new information about the upcoming versions of Elden Ring, including a sweet-looking Collector’s Edition.
For anyone who is pre-ordering the game, you will be getting some goodies to go along with your order. A Digital Adventure Guide will contain useful information for navigating The Lands Between, while “The Ring” bonus gesture can give you a communication headstart.
As for the game itself, there are several versions to look forward to. The standard edition of Elden Ring is as straightforward as it gets, with the game available on PS4 and PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
If you prefer to plump for the Digital Deluxe Edition, a digital artbook and the game’s soundtrack will be your additional rewards.
Then we get to the big one, the Elden Ring Collector’s Edition itself. Fans who purchase this edition will receive a copy of the game, an exclusive SteelBook case, the 40-page hardback artbook, the digital soundtrack, and an impressive 23cm tall statue of Malenia, the Blade of Miquella. Everything will come in an impressive-looking box as well, so you better make space for it.
There is also a Day-1 physical bonus at participating retailers in the form of a Spectral Steed whistle, which should annoy your friends and family to no end.
No pricing for the region has been announced yet, but one can expect the Elden Ring Collector’s Edition to cost a pretty penny. Whether it is worth it or not, depends on your devotion to FromSoftware and their next big title.
