Elden Ring Closed Network Test Announced, Release Date Delayed To 25 February 2022

FromSoftware has just announced that the Closed Network Test for Elden Ring will take place throughout the weekend of 12 to 15 November.

Southeast Asian players will need to register online by 1 November for a chance to participate in the Closed network Test. The game will allow for cross-play multiplayer (PS5 and PS4 players will be able to play together, same for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. PlayStation players will not be able to play with Xbox players).

The servers will be open during the following time periods:

  • November 12: 19:00 to 22:00 SGT
  • November 13: 11:00 to 14:00 SGT
  • November 14: 3:00 to 6:00  SGT
  • November 14: 19:00 to 22:00 SGT
  • November 15: 11:00 to 14:00 SGT

Alongside the news of the Closed Network Test announcement was the decision to extend the development time for final adjustments of the game. FromSoftware indicates that the depth of the game and the degree of freedom had exceeded the initial expectations, thus there is the need to delay the release by slightly over a month from the original 21 January 2022 to 25 February 2022.
