Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII remake will officially be released on March 3, 2020, as announced by Square Enix during a concert dedicated to the classic role-playing game, Final Fantasy VII A Symphonic Reunion.
The remake was first announced in E3 2015, after which the remake went through a long period of radio silence before appearing once again at a PlayStation State of Play livestream in May. This new change means that Final Fantasy VII will definitely be one of the key announcements at Square Enix’s showcase during E3 2019, where they will likely have much more information and key gameplay footages to show.
A new trailer was also featured during the concert, which you can watch below.
Do stay tuned as for our recap on Square Enix’s E3 2019 press conference when it happens.
