Latest Dyson’s Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer Offers Scalp Detection & Protection

Dyson has revolutionised hair care once again with its new Supersonic Nural hair dryer, an advanced version of its famed Supersonic series, equipped with innovative Nural sensor technology. This new model promises to elevate hair and scalp health by automatically adjusting the heat to minimise damage and enhance shine, promising no heat damage for all hair types.

The device introduces a Scalp protect mode which maintains a maximum temperature of 55°C, ideal for comfortable and effective drying. The mode is supported by a time of flight sensor that projects an infrared beam measuring the distance to the hair and adjusting the heat accordingly. This feature is complemented by a colour-changing LED that indicates the heat level – yellow for low, orange for medium, and red for high, enhancing user experience and safety.

Further enhancing user experience, the dryer features Attachment Learning and Pause Detect, new features aimed at simplifying the styling process. The device remembers the user’s preferred settings, automatically adjusting airflow and heat when reattached. Moreover, an integrated motion-sensing Accelerometer pauses operation when not in use, reducing noise and airflow for a more convenient styling experience.

Dyson has also revamped the design for the Supersonic Nural, introducing eye-catching colour combinations such as Ceramic Patina and Topaz, and Vinca Blue and Topaz. The clear end cap showcases the internal technology, marrying function with style.

The hair dryer comes with five attachments tailored to different styling needs, including a Gentle air attachment for even airflow, a Styling concentrator for precision, a Smoothing nozzle to reduce frizz, a Diffuser for defined curls, and a Flyaway smoother utilising the Coanda airflow that attracts hair to the surface of the brush for a sleek finish.

With its intelligent features and sophisticated design, the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer is poised to transform hair styling routines, offering a blend of style, efficiency, and protection for hair and scalp health. Priced at S$699, the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer will be available for purchase on 23 May. More information about the product can be found on Dyson’s website.
