‘Dragon Quest’ 3 HD-2D Remake Comes To Console & PC

After 3 years in development and no further updates, the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake finally emerged out of the shadows to make an announcement, confirming that the game would be available on console and PC platforms, accompanied by the Dragon Quest logo.

The news was shared to X/Twitter on the game’s official account, with a cryptic message that “the legend of Erdrick draws near.” The game will likely get a release date and an updated trailer in the coming months, given the announcement, and possibly get more remakes if the caption is anything to go by, with the legend of Erdrick plotline spanning the first three games.

Currently, there are 11 Dragon Quest games, with a 12th in the making, though we haven’t heard much about Dragon Quest 12 yet. With Square Enix making the shift to multi-platform releases, Dragon Quest 3 will be available on the PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox series X|S and Steam for PC.

While we wait for the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake, there’s still 11 games that will tide fans over until its release.
