While the gaming community is certainly abuzz in discussions over which game will be Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2020, it’s also an event where we look forward to the latest and greatest to come (and this time, with live audio captions for the hearing impaired).
It is sort of an open secret that Dragon Age 4 would be coming to TGA 2020, but the ceremony’s host and founder Geoff Keighley confirmed it in a Tweet featuring all-new artwork just a few days ago. Developer BioWare itself backed this up with a more recent post, this time depicting what looks to be a three-eyed wolf:
To jog your memory a bit, this could represent the Dread Wolf a.k.a Solas from 2014’s Dragon Age: Inquisition, who by the end of that game’s final DLC, Trespasser, was set up to be the sequel’s main antagonist.
How exactly he will manifest in this upcoming new trailer remains to be seen, but it seems we may be getting an answer in The Game Awards 2020 happening on 10 December.
No release date for Dragon Age 4 has been announced as of yet.
Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
