The team behind Wrecking Crew is shaping up.
The movie will be helmed by director Ángel Manuel Soto, who recently released his DC flick Blue Beetle. Starring in Wrecking Crew are Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa. Both actors were in talks for the film before the actors strike commenced last month.
Penning the script for Wrecking Crew is Jonathan Tropper. Similarly, Tropper wrote the script and closed his deal before the writers strike began in June. Jeffrey Fierson, who worked with Momoa on the TV series Frontier, is producing the film.
Wrecking Crew is currently described as a buddy comedy. Details are still kept under wraps.
Bautista was last seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 as Drax the Destroyer. Momoa, on the other hand, played villain Dante Reyes in Fast X. Later on in the year, he will be reprising his role of Aquaman in the DC movie Aquaman and the Last Kingdom.
