Marvel Studios has officially set the premiere date for the highly anticipated series Daredevil: Born Again. The show will debut on Disney+ on 4 March 2025, reintroducing fans to Charlie Cox’s portrayal of Matt Murdock, a lawyer by day and vigilante by night. The announcement was made during the Marvel Fanfare panel at New York Comic-Con (NYCC), where Cox, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio who plays Kingpin, discussed the Disney+ series.
The series, marking a revival of the character following the popular Netflix adaptation, promises a fresh take with Cox reprising his role alongside a star-studded ensemble including D’Onofrio, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye. Daredevil: Born Again is slated to run for two seasons with a total of 18 episodes, showcasing a blend of new adventures and familiar dynamics.
The synopsis is as follows:
“Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk pursues his own political endeavours in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”
This series represents a significant moment for Marvel, as it reintroduces the Daredevil character within the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after appearing in other Disney+ Marvel series, including Echo and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
