Cyberpunk 2077 To Get Spinoff Comic Book Series In September

While many are no doubt bummed to hear that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed yet again to November 2020, it doesn’t mean one can’t look forward to September still.

Those raring to diving a little deeper into Night City’s extensive lore can do so with Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team, a new spinoff comic book series, with its first issue launching 9 September. Written by Cullen Bunn (Uncanny X-Men, Agent Venom, Deadpool) this companion story will follow the exploits of Nadia, a member of the titular Trauma Team International, a privately-owned security firm.

Though we’re not entirely sure who Nadia is at this point, or her relation to the events of the main game, we do know that Trauma Team International did make a cameo appearance in the game’s E3 2018 trailer. From what it looks like, these guys are definitely not good news, even if the comic’s protagonist works for them.

In any case, it’s one more reason to look forward to Cyberpunk 2077, which launches on 19 November for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. For now, you can already buy the limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One Wireless Controller and Xbox One X console.
