Celebrate May The 4th 2024 With 10 New LEGO Star Wars Sets & Collectibles

Star Wars Day is upon us once again, and this year is a special one for LEGO. 2024 marks the 25th Anniversary of LEGO Star Wars, and LEGO is celebrating May the 4th with seven new LEGO sets, two Gift-With-Purchase items, and a lavish 312-page coffee-table book. Most of the sets will actually be released from May the 1st onwards so plan your purchases well to ensure you can snag both of the GWP (Gift-With-Purchase) items. 75382 Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) TIE Interceptor – 1,931 pieces

This 1,931-piece set measures over 32cm high, 40cm long and 33cm wide. The set comes with a display stand along with an information plaque, a LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary brick, a TIE Pilot minifigure (with special arm decoration) and mouse droid.

75380 Mos Espa Podrace – 718 pieces

This 718-piece set measures over 12cm high, 30cm wide and 14cm deep. The diorama set beautifully captures that iconic moment from the Mos Espa Podrace in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and comes with brick models of Anakin Skywalker’s Podracer and his rival Sebulba’s Podracer. This set is part of a series of collectible, buildable LEGO Star Wars diorama models that depict iconic Star Wars moments.

The Mandalorian fans can recreate the daring BARC Speeder escape flashback scene from Season 3 with this building set. The set comes with Kelleran Beq with blue and green lightsabers, and two 501st Clone Troopers plus a Grogu LEGO figure.

This “The Force of Creativity” coffee-table book celebrates 25 years of LEGO Star Wars building sets with a 312-page hardcover illustrated book presented in a slipcase. It features interviews with more than 50 insiders at the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm and tells the inside story of the ever-evolving LEGO Star Wars brand, from the creation of popular building sets to immersive real-world experiences, video games, animated storytelling and the fan community.

Other time capsule items include a facsimile of a rare Toy Fair booklet (2010), development art for an unreleased LEGO Star Wars Zam Wesell minifigure (2020), an unproduced animation script and more. The book measures over 26cm long and 31cm wide. It will be available for pre-order from 1 May 2024 exclusively on LEGO.com and is expected to launch on 20 July 2024.

There are no details on how one can get this collectible coin just yet. It depicts the moment Darth Vader sets his sights on Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing fighter during the climatic Death Star trench run in Star Wars: A New Hope’s dramatic finale. “I have you now!”


40686 Trade Federation Troop Carrier (Gift-With-Purchase)

This 262-piece set won’t be for sale, but will come as a free gift-with-purchase on May the 5th onwards. You’ll need to spend S$235 or more on LEGO Star Wars products to receive this GWP item. It is to mark the 25th anniversary of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and LEGO Star Wars sets. This set comes with 2 Pilot Battle Droid LEGO figures and 6 Battle Droids, who fit on the rear rack. The rack slides out and unfolds, as seen in the movie, and can store the Battle Droids’ blasters.
