The legendary anime/manga series that is all about football, Captain Tsubasa, will finally make its way into modern gaming with Bandai Namco‘s Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions this coming 28 August. Judging from the latest trailer, we expect to see the flashy moves and crazy situations the series is known for.
While the series may have spanned a long period of time, the game will focus on the “impressive action with the team and characters that appeared in the junior high school arc of the anime “Captain Tsubasa” as well as the popular characters of the International Junior Youth.”
In addition to the expected story mode, you can also enjoy the game with friends and family. Online play will support up to four players for some football mayhem.
