The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become quite a beast after twelve movies have been released. Having defeated numerous bad guys, eventually the heroes will be turning against each other largely due to differences in ideals in Captain America: Civil War.
With so much to catch up on, it’ll take a good amount of time to get up to speed. Thankfully, Shaw has carefully curated a movie marathon that combines, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron and ending it with Captain America: Civil War from evening to late night.
Taking place at 3 of their IMAX cinemas on 27 April 2016, Shaw Lido, JCube and Waterway Point, the real question is if you have the physical stamina to last through all three movies.
Starting at 6.15pm, it looks like there will be short breaks for the toilet or to grab a bite. And given Civil War’s run time of about 2h 30 mins, you had better make arrangements for transport home once the marathon ends. Also, select footage in Civil War is filmed with IMAX cameras!
The choice of the two flicks preceding Civil War are not exactly in chronological order of release with the excellent Ant-Man being left out. The direct connection to Civil War would be Winter Soldier with small references to Bucky’s disappearance being mentioned briefly in Age of Ultron.
Nonetheless, if you want to be first in Singapore to catch the latest from Marvel, this is your best bet.
