Following a years-long hiatus, K-pop supergroup BTS is set to celebrate their long-awaited return in grand fashion. First on the list is the BTS the Comeback Live | Arirang performance, which will broadcast from Gwanghwamun, a well-known Seoul landmark offering views of its iconic Gyeongbokgung palace, on Netflix on 21 March 2026.

A week later, the streamer will debut BTS: The Return, a documentary chronicling the making of their new album, “Arirang,” due for release on 20 March. Bao Nguyen (The Greatest Night in Pop) is directing the film, which portrays all seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin and Jung Kook, creating “new music that reflects who they are now — culminating in what will become a landmark album of its time,” per the official description.
The forthcoming album marks the group’s first new album since 2022’s “Proof”, before the members embarked on their mandatory military service in Korea. The Netflix announcement comes after the boy band announced a world tour for 2026 and 2027, with 79 performances coming to 34 territories across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia. It will kick off with three hometown concerts in Goyang, South Korea, on 9, 11, and 12 April, featuring a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design.
BTS The Comeback | Arirang hits Netflix on 21 March, while the documentary feature premieres on 27 March.
