In about a little over a month, BlizzCon 2020 would have happened. But alas, things got in the way, and Blizzard’s yearly community showcase was put off for the first time in its history. However, the company has recently announced that it will be returning in next year as a virtual event aptly named BlizzConline.

The event will take place from 19 – 21 February 2021, and will “channel the spirit of BlizzCon into the form of an online show.” Blizzard announced that it wiill be hosting a Community Showcase, comprising a slew of community activities in store for fans of its various game franchises. This includes the likes of cosplay exhibitions, talent spotlights, cosplay, art and digital storytelling contests, as well as a digital iteration of the iconic March of the Murlocs cosplay event.
While details regarding the various announcements and featured games are still sparse, one can expect the likes of Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 to be featured at BlizzConline.
Fans who are interested in attending BlizzConline can register on the official website.
