In a shocking turn of events, it was announced earlier today that Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman has passed away at 43 years. The news first broke via his Twitter account, stating that the star has apparently been battling colon cancer since 2016.
Boseman is known to have been a passionate multi-talented man who brought the King T’Challa to life in one of the most groundbreaking films of this decade. Much like his on-screen hero persona, Boseman has bravely battled cancer for four years, even powering though the superhero blockbusters Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame with his illness.
Boseman passed away with his wife and family by his side. It is an absolutely heartbreaking piece of news to hear and only adds on to the list of devastating events such as Grant Imahara’s death that has been plaguing the world since the start of 2020. We hope that Chadwick Boseman will rest in peace and send our well wishes to his family and friends in this trying time.
